Guruyoga of 16th Karmapa

Guruyoga of 16th Karmapa

What is Guru Yoga, what forms can it take, and why is so much emphasis placed on it on the path to awakening? You can come to Olomouc on the first weekend in May to hear about this. You’re welcome to come even if it’s just to meet the teacher.

The practice of Guru Yoga – 16th Karmapa – was spontaneously compiled by the Karmapa himself.

Guru = full of qualities, profound

Yoga = connection or unification

The practice of Guru Yoga is a meditative technique (coming from tibetan buddhism) in which the practitioner strives to unite the true nature of the teacher’s mind – the Buddha-nature – with their own mind, its true nature and qualities unobscured by ignorance and limitations.

Schedule:
