The practice of Guru Yoga – 16th Karmapa – was spontaneously compiled by the Karmapa himself.
Guru = full of qualities, profound
Yoga = connection or unification
The practice of Guru Yoga is a meditative technique (coming from tibetan buddhism) in which the practitioner strives to unite the true nature of the teacher’s mind – the Buddha-nature – with their own mind, its true nature and qualities unobscured by ignorance and limitations.
