“Mr. Dhondup is a divorced and single father of two school-age children. For a few months, he ran a winter sweater shop like most Tibetan refugees in India.
During the monsoon season in June 2023, his bike skidded on the road, causing an accident and he was seriously injured. An internal brain hemorrhage required immediate surgery. All his small savings were used up in treatment. He was at rock bottom. He had to undergo a complicated recovery after brain surgery and had no savings left.
At such critical stages of his life, it was MOST ProTibet that came to his aid and supported his treatment. Thanks to the timely fundraising, his life could be saved and his numerous surgeries were successful. Since the surgeries were very extensive, part of his skull had to be removed. Fortunately, his vital and cognitive functions are preserved.
Today, we are very happy to inform all the kind donors of MOST ProTibet about “The rescue was successful and a human life was saved thanks to timely assistance. His photos are here for update.”
