Monk from Key monasteryThe mission of MOST ProTibet non-profit organization is to support education and improve the living conditions of children, nomads, Tibetan refugees and the elderly. We are engaged in development cooperation and humanitarian aid in the Indian Himalayas and Tibet, we support local schools and craft traditions. We organize regular cultural and educational events, such as Festival ProTibet, for Czech public and schools. In the educational project we offer courses, lectures and workshops for teachers and students.

We have already reached a total of 900,000 EUR since 2006 that we sent directly to people in the Indian Himalayas and Tibet and we provided food, textbooks, medical care, portable water, heating and other needs for more than 3 700 people.

Our projects



header4We help individual people who need our help most. Our donors have been supporting Tibetan children, monks and nuns, nomads or old people without families over a long period of time.



Make a difference - schoolWe are creating conditions for education of children from the poorest families. We have set up a nomadic school in the plains of Changthang. We are currently building a female monastic school in Spiti Valley in India and supporting education in Tibetan schools in Tibetan autonomous areas Kardze and Tsolho in China.



Make a difference - goatIn this project we help nomads to maintain their traditional livelihoods.



workshopsWe support employment of Tibetan refugees and women in Spiti valley in India. We buy the products from these “fair” workshops for our e-shop and we also helped to establish two sewing workshops: In Ladakh and Dharamsala.

toilet build after floodsIn case of humanitarian catastrophy in the area that we work in, we launche a fundraising campaing for humanitarian assistance.

In 2013 we handed over a 5,769 EUR to the Ambassador of H.H. Dalai Lama for humanitarian assistance to the Tibetan nomads hit by heavy snowfall in the Ladakh region India.
In summer 2010 MOST’s workers coordinated humanitarian aid after devastating floods in Ladakh. The ambassador of His Holiness the Dalai Lama was given 5,100 EUR. MOST in cooperation with the ambassador ensured the most effective quick help. Also in 2010 MOST in cooperation with Tibet Foundation, the UK got involved in humanitarian aid after the disastrous earthquake in Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Region. We delivered 7,310 EUR to help Tibetans.


Tibetan homes foundation

It is a non-governmental charitable organization that helps 2,500 Tibetan orphans, half-orphans and children refugees. His Holiness the Dalai Lama has founded it in 1962. MORE 

TCV - Tibetan Children's Village

It is a non-governmental charitable organization that provides a home and education in network of SOS villages across India for 12,000 Tibetan children. We support the TCV School Sumdho lying at the Tibetan border and TCV school Dharamsala. MORE 

Sonamling Tibetan Settlement, Changthang, Tibetan Settlement Ladakh, India

The centre of the Tibetan villages in Ladakh for exiles provides help over 7,100 Tibetan refugees who live in 25 villages. The Sponsorship project supports Tibetan elderly without families. A young Tibetan women work in sheltered sewing workshop, which we’ve settled. The project Goat ProTibet helps the poorest nomadic families.

Sapan Foundation, India

It is a non-governmental charitable organization that was established in order to build women’s convent school in a remote Spiti valley near the Tibetan border. In this project we participate since 2006, in 2013, was completed and opened half the school. This foundation supports more projects in Spiti valley. MORE

Villages and monastic schools in Ladakh and Spiti, India

These non-state schools provide education to poor and disadvantaged children, who come from remote areas of Ladakh and Spiti region. We work with schools: Tiksey and Cultural Welfare Society, Galden Tashi Chosling Monastic School, Central Institute of Buddhist Studies, Buddhist Cultural Society of Key Gompa Rinchen Choling Sakya Nunnery, Tashi Lhunpo Monastery.

Foundation: Deykilyng Tibetan Handicraft Cum, Training and Charitable Society, India

Is a non-governmental organization providing training and other employment to unemployed Tibetan refugees in exile sheltered workshops in the village Dekyiling at Dehradun.

Gyalten Private school, TAP Kardze, China

Private boarding school provides free education primarily in Tibetan language for 400 children. It founded in 1994 and passed her over 4,000 children. We have supported this school from 2011 within the Sponsorship project.

Tibet Foundation, UK

Non-governmental charitable organization is implementing projects of development cooperation and humanitarian aid in Tibet, India and Mongolia. We have started the cooperation in 2010 during a humanitarian aid after the earthquake in Tibet. MORE
